stop f#&king quoting the 360's being less powerful as a weakness when PS2 was the LEAST powerful last-gen. even the f#&king gamecube had more graphics processing power.
I should clarify. when I say 'least powerful' I mean between PS2, xbox and gamecube. I forgot there was a short battle with dreamcast (because I didn't have cash back then to buy consoles and wasn't paying attention).

esp. after trying Morrowind before it, I remember thinking WTF you can't even go off the path, really? but the fluid action combined with addictive RPG levelling (all presented with that pretty graphical sheen) has turned me around since then, to where I'll still pull out Fable 1 sometimes even now. I'm definitely looking forward to Fable 2.
that many of us bought our 360s before the failure rate had a chance to come to light, myself included. if I'd known, would I have still chosen 360 over PS3... maybe not...

from EBgames. they make you pay $40 again to warranty the new replacement machine when you do bring in your busted old equipment. I did this twice but the second time (couple of months ago) they wouldn't let me buy the warranty again, saying I should send the console to microsoft if the replacement goes RROD. so now I'm stuck trying to be very careful with my un-warranted 360 and hoping that if it does RROD microsoft will take care of me with just a warranty exchange receipt. : (

@ Harry Potter: personally I'm looking forward to Fable 2 and Too Human most for 2008. the only sony title I'm envious of in 2008 is MGS4, by the way. per year, a couple of the really good titles are usually all I end up investing (time & $) in anyway.

I enjoy the quality of the HD downloads and it's true you can start watching in a reasonable amount of time. wish they would bother to up the trailer preview quality a bit though. it's about 6 US dollars to rent.
not a bad service. I don't know if it's 'true' HD since the droids seem to think otherwise, but damned if I don't notice a beautiful, detailed picture that's WAY better than the standard-def I'd been watching. I have a 26" Magnavox LCD that does 720p/1080i.
and the Killzone franchise looks like one of the most generic FPSs I've seen.
it's a shame about the 360's hardware problems; but so far only 2 PS3 exclusives look compelling to me MGS4 and LBP. so I'll stick with the system with the games I want to play for now, thank you.
